Bhikkhus, when someone has these six qualities, even if one were to listen to the True Dhamma,
they would still be incapable of entering the correct path where one’s wholesome qualities
blossom and thrive. What are these six?
One is obstructed by one’s actions/kamma; obstructed by defilements; obstructed by the
consequences of one’s past actions/kamma; one does not have faith; does not have the noble
desire for attaining the goal of the Holy Life; and one is without wisdom.
Bhikkhus, when someone has these six qualities, even if one were to listen to the True Dhamma,
they would still be incapable of entering the correct path where one’s wholesome qualities
blossom and thrive.
