Kamma

Intentional actions of body, speech, and mind have consequences according to their ethical quality.

Kamma means intention expressed through body, speech, or mind. Skillful intentions tend toward well-being; unskillful intentions tend toward suffering.

Kamma is not fate. Present choices remain part of the causal field.
